Happy Halloween to everyone who celebrates it! Its shaping up to be a very wet holiday here. We can't handle much more rain, though it is still coming down as I write this. The ditches are already overflowing and the lakes are threatening to. Jim emailed after he got to work to report that some of the roads are already flooded out. Seems it'll be a mess tonight, when all the little ghouls are out demanding candy. To make things even worse, they are, of course, predicting more showers.
I have to admit, though, that I am enjoying the rain. There is something about the leaden skies, the cool breezes, the sound of the drops hitting the window that is very conducive to writing. I've turned on my 'rain' playlist and am headed over to Scrivener to finish my NaNoWriMo outline-can't believe it's almost here!
